Delete your Formwise account

What will be deleted

When your deletion is processed, Formwise will delete or de-identify the personal data associated with your account from its live systems, including:

• Your Formwise account and authentication information.
• Profile information, including your age, height, weight and fitness preferences.
• Health, fitness and body-composition information.
• Goals, targets, schedules and onboarding answers.
• Workout plans and workout history.
• Meal, nutrition, hydration and weight logs.
• Progress records and body measurements.
• Saved AI Coach conversations and other AI content stored by Formwise.
• Notification settings, reminders and push-notification tokens.
• Subscription entitlement information associated with your Formwise account.
• Uploaded meal, body-scan and progress photographs.
• Other content or files you have saved to your account.

Formwise does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.

Information that may be retained

Some limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes or establish or defend legal claims.

This may include:

• Subscription, transaction and accounting records for up to six years where required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal purposes.
• Restricted backup copies for up to 90 days before they are overwritten.
• Records subject to a legal preservation requirement, dispute or regulatory request.
• De-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you.
• Limited technical or security records where necessary to protect Formwise and its users.

AI providers may retain limited request information in security and abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, subject to their applicable controls and legal exceptions.

Apple and Google maintain their own purchase and account records. Formwise cannot delete information held independently by Apple or Google. Their handling of that information is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Processing timeframe

Once you confirm deletion through the website:

• Access to your Formwise account will normally end immediately.
• Personal data in Formwise’s live systems will be deleted or de-identified without undue delay and normally within 30 days.
• Restricted backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
• Information that must lawfully be retained will be restricted to the purpose for which it is retained and deleted when that purpose expires.

If you submit a deletion request through support, we will normally respond within one month. A lawful extension may apply if a request is particularly complex, in which case we will explain the reason for the delay.

Identity verification

If you are signed in, your authenticated Formwise session will normally be used to verify your identity. We may ask you to sign in again before confirming deletion.

If you cannot access your account, email contact@aerel.co.uk from the email address associated with your Formwise account. Use the subject line:

We may request limited additional information where reasonably necessary to confirm that you own the account. Never send us your password, payment-card details or authentication codes.

If we cannot verify that you are authorised to delete the account, we may be unable to complete the request until verification is provided.

Cancel your subscription separately

We recommend cancelling your subscription before deleting your account. Otherwise, the subscription may continue renewing even though your Formwise account has been deleted.

Google Play

1. Open Google Play using the Google Account that purchased Formwise.
2. Go to Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
3. Select Formwise.
4. Select Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

Apple App Store

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Select Formwise.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling normally prevents the next renewal. Access generally continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refund requests are handled separately by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
